US-based comedian Jo Koy posted on Facebook yesterday that his mom apparently crashed into their parking space at home, uploading what seems to be him peeking out their window and an old Toyota Yaris ramping up another car and crashing into a wire mesh fence.
In his post, he said – “My mom showed up for lunch… does anyone have a AAA account I can use?”
Jo Koy’s real name is John Glenn Herbert grew up in the US and dropped out of University of Nevada to pursue his stand-up comedy career and credits his mom for his acting talents and sense of humor.
He got his stage monicker when one day his aunt calls out to him for dinner and calls him Jo, Ko (Jo his nickname and Ko means “my” in Tagalog). He thought he heard her saying Jo Koy and that name stuck ever since.
A quick look and fact check on the video show that the lady in the video wasn’t his mom and the car is right hand drive with Aussie plates. The video has been circulating on social media for a while now so obviously Jo Koy was just making fun of his mom.
Thankfully no one was hurt on this viral video and Jo Koy’s post has already garnered over 200,000 views and 13,000 likes and reactions. Here’s a like to his Facebook post
