A new round of design updates is solidifying the 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton’s distinguished place on the Korean SUV specialist’s lineup. 

Featuring a fresh honeycomb grill design that tapers below the headlights, the 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton’s new look emphasizes its distinct role as a flagship that epitomizes the loftiest ideals of the brand.

With its already commanding presence further made more majestic, the new Rexton is poised to become a compelling choice for the most discerning of SUV buyers.

Also new for the latter half of 2020, the Rexton’s headlight bezel color has been refinished into a more elegant Titanium Gray. The metallic luster of the new headlight housings further accentuates the refinement offered by SsangYong’s premier model. There is also now a more luxurious sixth color option available for the new model. Marble Gray is introduced for the first time in the 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton. It joins Atlantic Blue, Fine Silver, Grand White, and Space Black as premium color options for the Rexton line. The new metallic shade creates a more exclusive color option for those who wish to remain distinct while reservedly less ostentatious on the road.

Inside, the 2020.5 Rexton in 4×4 trim continues with its unique Premium Brown Stitching quilted leather interiors that have become a defining touch for the brand. While for the 4×2, seat ventilation for the driver and passenger seats is introduced. This is a welcome addition of luxury and comfort that brings the cabin experience of the 4×2 closer to its top-of-the line stablemate. 

All SsangYong Rexton variants continue to offer heightened 7-seater comfort and entertainment with their 8-inch Touchscreen Infotainment system delivering crisp video and audio over 6-speakers. LED interior lights also make the cabin brighter and more modern in finish. They all continue to offer a 220-volt outlet perfect for plugging in small convenience appliances or chargers for long drives.

To add a more luxurious feel, the 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton 4×4 also receives a more sophisticated smart key fob. Offering new functions such as headlamp activation and remote tailgate operation, the more stylish and functional keyfob deepens the sense of ownership and belonging for SsangYong’s premium SUV.

Finally, to heighten the value and ownership experience of every 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton purchase, the new model will now come with Free 5-year Preventive Maintenance along with its existing 5-Year Vehicle Warranty. New SsangYong Rexton owners will appreciate the longer duration of its worry-free maintenance which will include the cost of oil, parts and labor for each of the scheduled PMS intervals for the next 5 years, or up to 100,000-kilometers, whichever comes first. The extended warranty remains a testament to the build quality and the high-level workmanship involved in the new Rexton.

The SsangYong Rexton continues to offer a comprehensive safety suite with its six airbags for the 4×4 variant, ABS and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist.
