Maybank Philippines, a member of the Maybank Group, Southeast Asia’s fourth largest bank by assets, recently launched its proprietary virtual car showroom Maybank Zone.
Maybank Zone is a pioneering online portal for anyone in search of their dream car. The journey from choosing to eventually buying a car has been simplified through this new and exciting digital channel—with the virtual car dealership-hopping experience as the starting point and applying for a Maybank Auto Loan as the end point of this convenient experience.
Dexter Go, Head of Maybank Philippines Digital Banking, conducted the virtual visit of the MaybankZone to simulate a real customer experience that is safe, convenient and accessible. When visiting the Zone, customers are welcomed to the virtual Car Showroom, where one can search by brand, price points, or model or type of car. Alternatively, if one already has a specific brand preference, a click on any of the brand logos in the virtual showroom will lead to their digital catalogue which features an extensive list of car options. Once a customer has made his choice, he can request for a quotation, and subsequently apply for a Maybank Auto Loan without having to leave the site.
Maybank Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Choong Wai Hong affirms, “We are dedicated to reinvent our products and services to provide better solutions for the community. With the recent changes in the business landscape, and in time with Maybank Philippine Inc’s 23rd anniversary, we have decided to shift gears with our Auto Loan product and bring our clients’ car buying experience to the digital platform.”
This shift to a more convenient digital experience is echoed by Executive Vice President and Head for Community Financial Services Abigail Tina Del Rosario, “Maybank Zone will also be catering to the different retail products of the Bank other than Auto Loan, making it a one-stop hub for all Maybank’s online products.”
Ms. Del Rosario also added, “Maybank Zone’s presence in the digital space further strengthens the bank’s wide network of branches in the country and also gives its clients more options to move forward during this time. This is just one of the testaments of Maybank Philippines Inc’s steadfast efforts to improve its traditional assets through innovative digital products and channels.”
Maybank Zone also allows customers to open the fully online-only iSave account, apply for a Maybank Credit Card or Maybank Personal Loan.
