Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH), the country’s pioneer compact car distributorship, ended 2020 with the highest recorded market share in the company’s history—6.3 percent—after selling a total of 15,515 units.

With the Ertiga (24 percent of total sales), Carry (14 percent of total sales), and All-New S-presso (13 percent of total sales) becoming Suzuki’s top sales drivers last year, SPH remained optimistic to carry the momentum into 2021.

Suzuki related that last year, the company banked on its digital resources to ensure that the brand is  available and within reach to its customers and buyers. It launched services such as online auto loan features in their website, online test drive bookings, and virtual showrooms.

Virtual Autofest

Last year, Suzuki took its much-anticipated annual Virtual Autofest digitally, making sure that Suzuki fans are still able to experience the excitement of the celebration within the confines of their home.

The introduction of the All-New S-Presso and All-New XL7 in the local market was one of Suzuki’s highlights last year, two models with different personalities and offerings on their own.

“Last year posed unexpected turnout of events across different industries, and we are humbled to have been able to thrive and achieve new landmark events including ground breaking ceremonies for dealerships soon to rise and even a virtual opening for newly-opened dealerships in Marikina and Clark. This year, we are ready to provide customers with more options to answer to their expectations in driving in comfort,” promised Suzuki.

In fact, SPH is set to continue treating its customers with its latest product offerings, as well as get closer to more customers with new dealership openings. “With the Ertiga, Carry, and All-New S-Presso making it to Filipino homes as their dependable partner on the road, these top-selling Suzuki models are sure to make more waves this 2021 along with Suzuki’s upcoming new offers set to impress the Philippine market,” added Suzuki.
