Tiger Woods was driving a 2021 Hyundai Genesis GV80 SUV when he figured in an unfortunate accident in Los Angeles that caused severe injuries on his legs.
The $50,000 (about P2.4 million) luxury SUV was loaned to him by Hyundai as part of the usual perks given to stars on the PGA Tour.
Woods was host of the Genesis Invitational tournament held last week at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles won by Max Homa.
A “Genesis Invitational” logo can be prominently seen in screen grabs of live news feeds from helicopter crews.Among the safety features of the Genesis are 10 airbags, a forward-collision warning system, evasive steering technology and an interior camera that warns the driver if they fall asleep.
