The all-new 2021 Subaru Evoltis is now officially available in all Subaru dealerships nationwide.
Also known as the Subaru Ascent in North America, the Evoltis is the largest vehicle in Subaru’s line-up.
Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., a fully-owned company by the Motor Image Group which distributes Subaru in nine Asian countries, will be the only Asian distributor to offer the Evoltis.
Introduced in January 2020 at the Singapore Motor Show, the Evoltis is manufactured in the Subaru US plant and its launch marks the Philippine debut of the brand’s latest generation of award-winning Subaru Boxer Engines.
In its powerplant is the new Subaru FA24 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer Engine, rated at 260 horsepower with 375Nm of torque. The large cabin area of the Evoltis gives ample room for 3-row seating and seven full-sized adults with a 5,000 pound trailer towing capacity which is why it is popular in the US market.

It comes with a 2-2-3 layout, where the 2nd row is equipped with a pair of captain seats, ideal for long trips and its posh interior makes the Evoltis an ideal choice for SUV buyers who value a generous and premium cabin feel. It has over 4,700 liters of cabin space good for short or even long haul trips.
With its 220mm ground clearance, the Evoltis gives the assurance and confidence that this SUV will be able to navigate safely in the flood-prone streets of Manila when it needs to.
It has the following features – a 14-speaker, 792-watt Harman/Kardon sound system and 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a large 54-inch Panoramic Sunroof, three-zone Automatic Climate Control with Rear-seat Controls, Smart Rear View Mirror, and multiple USB ports, power outlets, and an industry-leading 19 cup and bottle holders located throughout the cabin to make sure the long drives give its passengers all the creature comforts for a very relaxed and comfortable trip.
“We are entering the Premium 7-seater SUV market with this spacious, feature-packed model. It has the best safety features in the segment with EyeSight as standard. It has excellent handling, drivability, and power, possessing all the hallmarks of a Subaru vehicle built on the Subaru Global Platform and equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It can even tow boats! It is well-designed and practical, with thoughtful details to make every journey comfortable for all passengers, such as 2nd row Captain seats and true third row seating. It may not be the cheapest in its segment, but it is the best value proposition for the family,”said Gerry Hernandez, Country Manager of Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc.
Just like all its other models, the Evoltis comes with all of Subaru’s core technologies. It uses the Subaru Global Platform and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive that comes with X-MODE as standard. It also has a segment-leading benchmark of over 100 safety features and with the EyeSight stereo-camera based safety system available only in its class. Other safety features include Driver Assist safety technologies only found mostly in luxury SUVs as well as Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.
The Evoltis will only be available in one variant called the Evoltis 2.4 Touring EyeSight with an SRP of Php 3,480,000 and will be available in five colors – Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Crimson Red Pearl, and a brand-new color – Abyss Blue Pearl.
