The LS has always been Lexus’ flagship sedan, with an excellent combination of space, reliability and efficiency. The LS 500h boasts of a sporty front end with a massive version of Lexus’ spindle grille, flanked by Z-shaped headlamps. Driver and front passenger will enjoy 28-way power seat adjustment with memory. Rear passengers are also pampered with 22-way power adjust seats and massive cabin space with long kneeroom. If you need a sportier drive, the Lexus IS 350 F Sport fits the bill. The rear-wheel drive sedan packs a 3.5-liter 24-valve gasoline V6 engine, good for 315ps and 380Nm. Paired with an 8-speed automatic, it propels the IS to 100kph in 6 seconds flat.
The IS bears the sportiest looks among Lexus’ sedans. 19-inch wheels with dark metallic finish give it a look akin to the RC and LC coupes. The tires are in a staggered set up, with 235/40 R19 tires for the front and 265/35 R19 for the rear. These have been tuned to maximize the IS’ handling characteristics.
The new IS is a full 30mm wider than its predecessor, resulting in a sportier stance. The front bears the unmistakable spindle grille. At the rear is a unique single taillamp design, tapered to a few mm in the center.
