The Chevrolet Trailblazer has been one of the success stories for the brand in the Philippines. Now, the popular nameplate takes on a whole new persona, as it morphs into a sporty, compact SUV powered by a turbo engine.
The all-new Trailblazer is a global model built on a new platform. Key stying points are a modern, sporty front fascia with Chevy’s trademark split grille, a sports-car inspired rear design, ‘floating’ roof, and squared-off wheel wells with black accents.
Powering the new Trailblazer is a turbocharged DOHC 1.3-liter gasoline engine, mated to a CVT. The new engine is expected to deliver up to 156ps and 235 Nm. Driver assist features will include Enhanced Stability Control. The cabin will carry an 8-inch Chervolet MyLink display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

The new Trailblazer will have a compact exterior, but its interior promises to be a spacious one. We’re expecting a split-fold rear seat that will allow 2.59 meters of cargo length. The SUV will be a five-seat vehicle.
The Chevy Trailblazer is manufactured at the General Motors Incheon plant in South Korea. The model, which is built on a global GM platform, is available in North America, South Korea, China, and now also, in the Philippines. The new Chevy Trailblazer will be available in two variants: LT (P1,488,888) and Premier (P1,621,888).
The Trailblazer will be covered by 5-year warranty, 24/7 roadside assistance for 3 years, and access to the Chevy Hotline for convenience in setting vehicle service and addressing other ownership concerns.
Exterior length is expected to be 4412mm x 1808mm, with a 2639mm wheelbase. Ground clerance will be 203mm.
