Since its establishment in 2016, Nissan Marilao has become synonymous with exemplary performance across all aspects of operations.
Beginning with just a modest space inside SM Marilao, it soon opened a 2,700 sq.m showroom and service center along MacArthur Highway in Marilao, Bulacan the following year. Since then the dealership never looked back as Nissan Marilao established itself as one of the brand’s best ambassadors in the province and all the areas north of Metro Manila.
This year, Nissan Marilao is again the recipient of Nissan Philippines’ Dealer of the Year Award. The DOYA is the highest recognition given to Nissan Philippines’ partners with the best performance across all aspects of operations, such as sales, aftersales, finance, and customer relations.
Aside from being the DOYA recipient last year, Nissan Marilao was also named Top in Vehicle Sales as well as Global Dealer of the Year in 2020.
“Winning this year’s DOYA is very special as this makes us a back-to-back winner. Not only that we again got the Top in Vehicle Sales and Global Dealer of the Year awards. This is unprecedented considering we did all these amid the COVID-19 pandemic that affected all industries. You can be assured that we will remain relentless as ever in pursuing excellence despite all the challenges,” promised Vincent Licup, Vice Chairman and COO of Autospeedygo Group that runs Nissan Marilao, Nissan Caloocan, Nissan Valenzuela and Metro Manila’s largest Nissan dealer, Nissan North Edsa.
Nissan Marilao already carries Nissan Japan’s New Retail Visual Design Initiative (NREDI) that consistently conveys Nissan’s retail concept to dealerships around the world. NREDI was initiated to improve customer services within a globally consistent brand experience, in response to diversifying expectations and lifestyles. Aside from adhering to the brand’s newest retail visual design, Nissan Marilao boasts a showroom that can display 12 of Nissan’s brand new offerings. It also comes with 20 work bays that offer services including the Nissan Executive Car Check-up and a version of a complete Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) that is done in just 30 minutes.
“The people of Nissan dealerships are the strength of the brand. You are the embodiment of Nissan’s challenger spirit. The awards today represent your commitment, resiliency, and passion to become champions among challengers. Let’s continue to be bold and daring as we aim for excellence,” said Atsushi Najima, Nissan Philippines’ president and managing director, during the awards held virtually last Oct. 8.
Najima related that Nissan Philippines has been experiencing a good rebound year as the brand launched four models: refreshed Navara in both Pro-4X and VE variants, Leaf, the new Terra, and the all-new Almera. “Superior products, after sales service and improvements in customer relations will all result in higher sales and ranking in the automotive industry.”
While the DOYA is Nissan Philippines’ annual event to rally and inspire its partners in 52 dealerships across the country, Najima said awards night also celebrates their achievements in the past year and hopefully, motivates them to exceed in the coming years ahead.
