Wurth Philippines is set to hold its biggest sale this year dubbed as “Black Friday Week” from Nov. 22 to 26 at the German brand’s retail outlet at Ortigas Technopoint right beside the CW Home Depot Ortigas branch that was opened recently.
All Wurth products will be sold with discounts as high as 50% off the selling price. Aside from its Wurth Shop in Ortigas, Pasig City the sale will also be available nationwide through the official Wurth Philippines Facebook page, its partner Lazada and will also be offered by Wurth sales representatives.
According to Ariel De Jesus, country managing director of Germany’s foremost automotive care and hardware supplies manufacturer, Black Friday is a colloquial term for the huge Friday sale following Thanksgiving Day celebrated widely in the United States. The American retailers offer huge discounts on Black Friday and people would actually line up before the opening to make sure they get the best deals available.
In China, it is equivalent to Singles’ Day, where it has become the largest physical retail and online shopping day in the world. Chinese online retailer Alibaba was said to have sold some US$30billion worth of goods in one Single’s Day in 2018.
