Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) recently lauded Club Xpander Philippines (CXP) for its members’ passion and dedication to promote the Xpander to more people around the country. The company said the group has been instrumental in helping the Xpander reach 51,762 unit sales since its introduction in May 2018.

“More than just our valued customers, the members of the CXP are some of the best ambassadors we have now for the brand,” related Mark Parulan, MMPC AVP for Sales and Marketing. “We commend the club and its members for their passion and dedication to promote the Xpander to more Filipinos. They see and experience for themselves the true value of this multipurpose vehicle. MMPC will continue to support them in their activities as we wish them more power in the years to come.”

The CXP is the country’s premier community of more than 2,600 Xpander owners from different backgrounds. CXP co-founder, Jimmy Virador related that CXP continues to grow and welcomes business owners, entrepreneurs, families and employees into its fold. “We continue to keep our group page healthy and our group chats active. Despite the health and social restrictions imposed in the past year, the club has continued to endure and flourish. Club Xpander Philippines keeps getting stronger and stronger,” Virador reported.

As the group celebrates its 3rd year, Virador related that the club will never stop expanding its reach and spreading the spirit of family togetherness to a growing number of Xpander owners in the country.

Virador shared that along with keeping the club’s bonds strong through online chats and mini-eyeball gatherings, its members were also involved in charity events that kept them busy the past year. “We did relief and outreach operations after typhoon Ulysses hit the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela,” he said, adding that the CXP-initiated relief expedition was led by members based in the two flood-ravaged provinces.

With Metro Manila-based club members collecting and sending P60,000 worth of food items, goods and pre-loved clothing, CXP was able to help residents of the provinces affected by the calamity.

As expected their official ride was the Xpander that offered them versatile interiors as a 7-seater and as a cargo hauler. An ideal vehicle for growing and expanding Filipino families and businesses across the country, the Xpander can also serve as a reliable relief operations partner.

The Xpander is available in three variants, the GLX MT, the GLS AT and the Cross. With a wide range of styling, convenience and safety features, the Xpander is the new generation MPV that fully answers the needs of the Filipino car buying market.
