Welcome to Inquirer Mobility

The season of giving is upon us. Taking the lead in spreading joy to our less fortunate families is Chevrolet Philippines, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) that recently collaborated with the Ronald McDonald House Charities Philippines (RMHC) to serve 10,000 meals to marginalized communities in select areas around the country.

Dubbed “Chevy Cheers,” this nationwide initiative will run until Dec. 10, 2021 and will visit select communities in NCR and other provinces.

“We at Chevrolet Philippines, through Chevy Cheers, are truly honored to be collaborating with the McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen (MKK) and Pilipinas Kontra Gutom (PKG is a multi-sectoral movement) this holiday season, and are grateful for the opportunity to give back and spread holiday cheer in the form of hearty meals that can be enjoyed by the entire family,” said Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla, President and CEO of Chevrolet Philippines.

Atty. Arcilla also shared that in cooperation with MKK, Chevy Cheers will activate food donation drives in key areas around the Philippines, spearheaded by assigned Chevrolet Philippines dealerships in each location.

“Our designated dealerships will be using the all-new 2022 Chevy Trailblazer SUV and the all-new Chevy Tracker crossover SUV as they distribute the food packs in several areas in the NCR and select communities in the provinces of Pampanga, Iloilo, Cebu, and Davao,” informed Lyn Buena, EVP and Director for Marketing Services of Chevrolet Philippines.

In the NCR, communities in Baseco, Baclaran, Smokey Mountain, Quiapo, Tayuman, Tatalon, Payatas, Bagong Silang, Camarin, Caloocan, and Navotas were identified as beneficiaries.

Through the MKK some 200,000 meals have been served to frontliners, quarantine centers, and affected communities since the pandemic began. “As we continue to face difficult times, Chevrolet Philippines will always be here to spread Chevy Cheers to more individuals and communities,” assured Ms. Buena.
