Chevrolet is the hub for all-American vehicles at MIAS

Tahoe, Trailblazer Premiere, Tracker LT Redline and Camaro headline the Chevy lineup

Chevrolet came out with all cylinders firing at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The brand, under exclusive importer and distributor The Covenant Car Company Inc., showcased a slew of new and iconic vehicles at its MIAS booth appropriately called the Chevrolet Hub.

Chevrolet took the opportunity to unveil the 2022 Tahoe 4×4 Z71. The full-size SUV is eye-grabbing thanks to its 20″ x 9″ machined alloy wheels, black grille with active shutters, integrated skid plate, and high approach angle. Inside, Tahoe has a Jet Black interior, 8-inch programmable driver’s screen, 10.2-inch Chevrolet MyLink Infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bose 9-speaker system, 10-way power adjustable driver and front passenger seats, and power folding rear seats. There’s inductive wireless charging for compatible devices, and even a power-folding rear seat.

Tahoe has plenty of power, thanks to a 5.30-liter Ecotec3 V8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic. 355hp and 518Nm are on tap, as are auto four-wheel drive system, Magnetic Ride Control, and Adaptive Air Suspension. The Tahoe has a full slew of electronic active safety features such as electronic stability control, 360-degree surround vision, collision and pedestrian alert, blind zone alert, and automatic emergency braking. The Tahoe is priced at P4,749,888.

Sharing the spotlight at the Chevrolet Hub are two new SUVs: the 2022 Trailblazer and Tracker SUVs. The Trailblazer nameplate has morphed to denote a new premium compact SUV with advanced active safety and convenience features. These include Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance indicator, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Braking, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Park Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.  Trailblazer is powered a turbocharged 1.3-liter DOHC engine with auto start/stop system.

The all-new 2022 Chevy Trailblazer Premier is priced at Php 1,621,888.00 while the LT variant is at Php 1,488,888.00.

The Tracker is a crossover SUV that’s been named the best-selling vehicle in its class in major Latin American markets. Tracker carries the brand’s trademark double grille, LED projector headlamps, 17-inch black alloy wheels, and sporty red accents. Tracker’s interior features a dual-cockpit dashboard, 8-inch MyLink touchscreen, and 1334 liters of cargo space. Tracker is powered by a 1.0-liter DOHC Ecotec Turbo engine.

The Chevrolet Tracker LT Redline retails at Php 1,242,888.00 while the LS variant retails at Php 1,142,888.00

Visitors to the Chevy Hub at MIAS can’t miss the Red Hot Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe. The sculpted long hood, LED headlamps and heritage-style taillamps, decklid spoiler and 5-spoke 20-inch machined wheels are unmistakable. The Camaro is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 275hp and 398Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifts. A high-performance Brembo brake system hauls the Camaro down quickly from speed. The Camaro retails for P3,298,888.00
