Method Race Wheels put to test at PH Rallycross Series

The first round of the 2022 Philippine Rallycross Series became the proving grounds for Method Race Wheels which were recently put to a severe test at the Driftwoods Action Park.

The Project O Rally team fielded an Isuzu D-Max pickup driven by champion rally car driver Louie Camacho fitted with a set of 17-inch Method Race Wheels wrapped with Nitto Terra Grappler G2 All-Terrain Tires.

“The Philippine Rallycross Series is the perfect playground to prove the quality of Method Race Wheels” says Justin Uy, Marketing Head for Concept One Wheels who carries Method Race Wheels in the Philippines. “Method Race Wheels are used in the most demanding off-road races like the Dakar Rally and Baja 4000. It’s a true testament to their ‘Lighter. Stronger. Faster’ motto,” he adds.

Method Race Wheels’ patented Bead Grip technology offers the versatility of a beadlock but is good for highway use. It allows the tires to safely reduce air pressure to increase traction and ride quality for off-roading conditions. The integrated Bead Grip grooves found on both its inner and outer bead seat engages the tire bead for a stronger holder under extreme side load and lower air pressures. Its safety hump also gets a more aggressive profile which offers better stability for the tire bead in the seat.
