Who wins?
The rivalry between Lebron James and Steph Curry, two of today’s biggest names in the NBA is arguably one for the ages. It can be likened to Magic and Bird or Russell and Chamberlain. Some experts even agree that we might not be able to witness the same top-notch level of play and energy of such high-caliber players for the next 20 years.
So far, the two have dueled against each other in 22 straight NBA Finals games from 2015 to 2018. Between the two superstars, they have eight championships, six MVPs, five Finals MVPs, the league’s all-time scoring title and the all-time three-point shots made.

Currently, this season, they meet again and their series is tied at one game apiece in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Now, to lighten up and keep things interesting, let’s say their rivalry extends off the court and unto their own parking garages at home.
Here, we get to know how both millionaire athletes spend their huge paychecks and on what particular rides. Through a research done by Hotcars.com in the U.S., we get a better perspective on who among the two gets to have the better taste, style, and bang-for-the-buck with these ballers’ top five vehicles inside their garages.
So, let’s see. You be the judge.
Team Lebron’s stable
Let’s first start at the backyard of ‘The King’s’ castle.
Ferrari F430 Spider. Parked here is Lebron James’ Ferrari F430. It just proves that he has fine taste for Italian masterpiece. The mid-mounted 4.3-liter V8 produces 490 horsepower. This convertible version of the model leaps from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, while topping at 195 mph or 314 kph. Back when it was new in the market, this car was the second-fastest production convertible in the world.
Ferrari 458 Italia Spider. Another prancing horse gallops inside Lebron James’ stable. This convertible turned up in his garage the next morning when he needed an upgrade for his 430. This Italian stallion, packed with a 4.5-liter V8, churns out 570 horsepower, 80 more than its predecessor. Here, the weight issue has already been solved and the carmaker has assured that the Spider model was almost at par weight with its hardtop version. Now, this cabriolet supercar can open its roof in just 14 seconds and is just 110lbs heavier than the latter.
Ferrari 599. Lebron’s soft spot for Ferrari continues with this beautiful V12 icon. The 599 GTB, equipped with a six-liter V12, produces 620 horsepower, blasts from 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds and tops at 330kph.

Lamborghini Aventador Roadster S. As usual, another Italian is in the mix. This time—however—it’s from the house of the raging bull. This Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster is an absolute beast. It sports the 6.5-liter V12 is rated at 730 horsepower with a staggering 0 to 60 time of 3.2 seconds.
Maybach 57S. Last in Lebron’s five-vehicle roster is the Maybach 57S. This luxury car is an AMG six-liter V12, producing 600 horsepower, propelling it from 0-60 in just five seconds.
Team Steph’s circle
Next, we take a look at the Warriors guard’s winning circle.
Mercedes Benz G55. Instead of adrenaline-pumping fast cars, Steph Curry is one bloke who prefers to be out in the rugged trail. His Mercedes Benz G-Wagon is one proof of this. Its 5.4-liter V8 pumps out 500 horsepower and sends it to all four wheels.
Range Rover Sport LWB. Meanwhile, Steph’s Range Rover, considered to be the best British vehicle ever created, is a very capable off-roader. This luxury SUV packs a V8 engine that pumps out 575 horsepower.
Porsche GT3 RS. After owning a slew of SUVs, Curry decided to whisk away the blues and just have fun. The Porsche GT3 RS was just perfect. This street-legal track car from Bavaria features a four-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, which produces 520 horsepower.
Porsche Panamera Turbo S. Unlike James’ proclivity for Italian-made cars, Curry is more into German engineering. With a Porsche Panamera Turbo S, he gets a 4.8-liter V8, paired with a PDK seven-speed tranny, churning out 550 horsepower, with 0 to 60 in 3.8-second prowess that tops at 190mph. In 2018—however—he sadly crashed this car.
Tesla Model X90. With the Mercedes G-wagon and Range Rover (Long Wheel Base), Curry seems to delight in SUVs and family cars. But with the Tesla Model X90, it seems he’s into saving the environment, as well. This full electric vehicle has two engines, one placed at the front, the other, at the back, both producing 260 horsepower.
The cooler garage
Today will be Game 3 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors in the NBA Western Conference semifinals. It’s a chance for either team to gain the lead in the cutthroat iconic matchup. For sure, Lebron James and Steph Curry will be out there with guns blazing.
But first before this exciting rivalry takes place, let’s sum it up. After taking a glimpse of these two superstars’ vehicle rosters: Which garage do you think is cooler?
