Isuzu Philippines, the country’s leading truck maker, just opened itself to an even bigger market base when it inaugurated its 49th dealership in Dasmarinas City in the province of Cavite last September 20.

The Japan-based Isuzu brand, with Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) as its official local distributor, has perennially dominated the country’s truck market, and has also fared well in its sales of diesel-powered light commercial vehicles and vans. Its nationwide network of dealerships and aftersales services has also received favorable reviews from customers.

Isuzu Dasmariñas is operated by Iconic Dealership Inc. (IDI), an Ayala-owned company that forms part of AC Industrials’ dealership businesses. The Dasmarinas dealership becomes IDI’s second dealership in the province, along with Isuzu Bacoor.

Isuzu Dasmariñas is easily accessible, as it’s situated along the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, the main road for Metro Manila travelers making their way to the “other” summer capital, Tagaytay City. The total land area of the dealership is 5,000 sqm, with the showroom’s high ceiling exuding a spacious, grand impression.

The dealership can display up to three vehicles, including trucks. The seven service bays can accommodate any Isuzu vehicle, from LCVs to heavy trucks.

Isuzu Dasmariñas also complies with the Isuzu Outlet Standard, which, as IPC explains, is a customer-centric structure aligned with Isuzu’s Global Dealership Standard. IPC adds that IOS-standard dealerships are designed for the overall customer journey-from inquiries, to sales, to aftersales service and the continuous return to the showroom.

IDI president Toti Zara revealed the importance of the Dasmariñas dealership during the formal opening ceremony. “The Isuzu brand has always been a jewel within IDI. It amounts to a one-third of our business, and with this location, we expect better returns in the future as it is located at the crossroads of two major thoroughfares, meaning there will be better visibility and accessibility to our customers in the area. The opening is also very timely, since the industry is expecting to reach pre-pandemic level by the end of the year, hopefully fully recovered by next year.”

The amiable new IPC President Tetsuya Fujita also stressed the importance of being located in Dasmariñas City.

“Considered as of one of the most competitive cities, not just in Calabarzon (the Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon growth corridor), but nationwide, Dasmarinas’ growth over the past years has shown to be strategic for Isuzu to set foot in this area. We are happy that through IDI, the brand will have a bigger presence, not just in this city, but in the entire province in the next years to come. We are confident that with IDI’s expertise in providing excellent customer service, we will be able to take good care of our customers in this area similar to other dealerships they operate,” said Fujita.

The Isuzu Dasmariñas outlet joins 48 other Isuzu dealerships located across the country, offering their latest lineup of pick-up, SUV and bestselling trucks with world-renowned durability and reliability, and diesel engine technology.
