JETOUR Auto Philippines is ending 2023 on a high note by opening its first dealership in Alabang in the bustling Filinvest district in Muntinlupa City.
Jetour Alabang was officially inaugurated on Friday and sits on a prime spot at the corner of Commerce Avenue and Corporate Avenue. It’s also just a stone’s throw away from the popular Festival Mall.
The expansive showroom has space for four cars and features an aftersales area that includes Jetour Auto parts and other merchandise. But its most eye-catching feature is its frontage, which has calming water features shared with the neighboring Estetika Wellness & Beauty Clinic.
This is because Jetour Alabang is run by AutoFlare of power couple Dexter Co and Viva Hot Babe-turned-entrepreneur Rachel Villanueva, who also put up Estetika. AutoFlare is the sister company of Auto Icon, which has made its name as a premium automotive dealer for pre-owned and brand-new American, European, Japanese and Chinese brands.
In an exclusive interview with Inquirer Motoring, Jetour Auto Philippines managing director Lito Jose said Jetour Alabang serves a highly lucrative and growing market both within and outside of Metro Manila.
“Alabang is a very strategic area for us, covering not only Alabang and Muntinlupa, but it would cover the neighboring towns and provinces in Cavite, Laguna, and as far as Batangas,” he said.
“We are so lucky that the Auto Icon group was convinced that they would carry Jetour Auto vehicles,” Jose added. “This is the very first dealer that we opened and inaugurated this year, other than the almost 16 dealers who confirmed their interest in building their facilities.”
Jetour Auto Alabang is located on Phase 1 Block 7 Spectrum District, Filinvest, Alabang. You can get in touch with the dealer at 0968-8818315 or through email@example.com.
The new showroom adds to Jetour Auto Philippines’ numerous accolades, with the upstart brand announcing this month that it surpassed its initial sales target of 1,000 units in its first eight months of operations.
The carmaker, which is a subsidiary of the Chery Holding Group, officially launched in the country on April 2023, with sales starting the month after. At the helm is Jetour Auto Philippines president Vincent Licup, who has considerable industry experience as part of the Autospeedygo automotive dealer group.
Joining him is Jetour Auto Philippines chief operating officer Michael Goho, who also serves as vice president of the Gateway Group, which is the largest multibrand automotive dealer in Cebu.
Aside from the Ice Cream mini electric vehicle, along with the Dashing, X70 and X70 Plus crossovers, Jetour Auto Philippines is set to launch exciting new models like the T2 sport-utility vehicle in 2024.
