The 2023 Land Cruiser LC300 is one of the most in-demand vehicles in the local premium car market today.
This LC is worth, at least, P5.2 million. It could take months or even longer than a year before you could purchase one because of the countless reservations and long waiting lists for the vehicle.
You could ask any car guy and the LC is definitely “selling like hotcakes”. The demand is obviously there. But the supply, we doubt.
So, when you learn stories about a guy winning the jackpot prize of a brand-new 2023 Land Cruiser LC300 and just opted to sell it away, it’s totally unheard of. It’s surreal. It’s like a scene cut from a fantasy movie.
But this is no movie. It’s real. And the guy’s name is Paul Laus, a prominent businessman from Pampanga whose family owns a chain of car and motorcycle dealerships. He just won the LC from a recent golf tournament, wherein the vehicle was the grand prize for the raffle draw. He bought six tickets and gave the five to his golfing buddies, keeping one for himself.
Now, that one ticket he kept actually won the grand prize.
And why is he not keeping it?
Looks like there’s just too many cars in his garage already.
