CONFIRMED: The Ford Bronco is arriving in the PH

Ronald Rey M. de los Reyes

It’s finally been confirmed. The Ford Bronco is set to be launched in the country this year.

After much speculation, especially after Autohub Group, headed by businessman Willy Tee Ten, apparently made an announcement about the arrival of the Ford Bronco on its social media page, Ford Philippines immediately made an official announcement just this morning, January 3, 2024. And this is what it says:

“Ford Philippines is confirming the launch of the Ford Bronco this year. It will soon be open for reservation exclusively via the Ford online reservation portal at www.ford.com.ph, and will be supported by all Ford dealers nationwide. More information including product specifications and reservation timings will be shared closer to launch date.”

Ford Philippines hasn’t released any further details about this but this is what we know about the vehicle.

For starters, this is the sixth generation of the Ford Bronco. First introduced in 1966, it is said to be Ford’s very first sport utility vehicle. Today, in the US, it has six trim levels available in 2022 lineup. The Bronco is famous for off-roading and can rival against the likes of the Jeep Wrangler.

Further reports said that it is is available in two body styles. It has the short wheelbase three-door and the long wheelbase five-door model. And there are likewise two engine options being offered: The 2.3-liter turbo that produces 300hp and the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that churns out 330hp.

For the price, Ford Philippines hasn’t revealed anything yet.
