An express drive takes us to experience the exceptional and exciting Hyundai Stargazer X
Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. recently held a media drive for its new Hyundai Stargazer X. The two-day activity pitted selected members of the local motoring media for a short yet fun drive from Makati all the way to Clark in Pampanga and back.
It was an enjoyable and relaxing experience as we were not only able to drive and ride the Stargazer X, but were able to participate in the fun activities instored for us. Here, we were able to experience painting pots, followed by a delightful Korean-style dinner and movie night at the cozy and chic, The Mansion in Pampanga.
“We wanted the motoring media to experience the Hyundai Stargazer X even for a short two-day drive to Pampanga and back,” the company’s Deputy General Manager for Marketing, Marc Parulan, said in a chat.
“It was a relaxing drive, I hope they were able to experience the exceptional design, roominess, functionality and performance of the vehicle,” he added.
Compared to the usual Stargazer, this Hyundai Stargazer X is a spruced up version of the vehicle. It comes with its sporty, masculine and edgier design that’s meant to adapt to any lifestyle.
Inside, this swagger spills over. It still has its usual spaciousness, yet–this time–it ups the ante with its exciting and stylish red accents. I was able to experience sitting in the third row and, when seats were well-adjusted, my 5 ‘7’’-frame snugly fitted right there.
Powering the Stargazer X is the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine that produces 113 hp and 144 N-m of torque. This is coupled with the standard Intelligent Variable Transmission. We traversed some hilly sections in Pampanga and this seven-seater powered through these terrains with a cinch. Likewise, acceleration and transmissions were so smooth that all my other colleagues inside the car were sleeping soundly like a baby as I took the reins going back to Manila.
Overall, the media drive was meant for us to experience first-hand the performance, spaciousness, reliability, comfort and design of this Stargazer X, truly making it one superb bang-for-every-buck package.
