Perhaps in a show of “girl power,” Lady Luck backed the winner of the 2023 X-1R and Bactakleen Win-A-Car Raffle not once, but twice.
“Admittedly, I am a person who has no luck in raffle promos, especially one that is as big as this one,” said Jennifer Arvesu of Toyota Calamba.
“But for some reason and with luck on my side, I got a laptop as one of the major prizes and I was very happy,” she added. “But little did I know that I would also get the Grand Prize, which is a brand new car!”
Arvesu is the latest winner in the grand annual raffle conducted by CreativeSparx, Inc. (CSI), which has been the official distributor of world-renowned X-1R products in the Philippines for the last 12 years. The company has also been distributing automotive products from Autovolution Inc. (AVI) for the last seven years, including Bactakleen Disinfection.
Participants from various automotive dealers get raffle entries by selling X-1R and Bactakleen products to their clients.
Space-proven tech for the road
X-1R Corporation was founded in Dayton, Florida in 1989, starting out by providing high-performance lubricants for motorsports.
But X-1R gained global acclaim in 1994 when the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) asked the company to develop a lubricant for its Shuttle Program. This was used successfully in the space crawler, making X-1R an inductee of the NASA Space Technology Hall of Fame since 2000.
Products include the highly esteemed X-1R Engine Treatment that is added directly to the engine oil. The company also offers the X-1R Octane Booster, X-1R 5 in 1 Decarboniser and X-1R Motorbike Formula.

Besides naming a new winner for its grand raffle, CSI was also awarded as the X-1R Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year in 2023.
This is the eighth time that the company received this prestigious award in its 12 years of operations.
As of press time, 275 car dealers nationwide carry CSI and AVI products. These brands include Chevrolet, Ford, Foton, Fuso, Geely, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Subaru, Suzuki, and Toyota.
The firms also have retail partners like Ace Hardware, Blade Auto Center, Wilcon Depot, and Ziebart.
