On the evening of revelries during the company’s 35th year anniversary held at their own dealership along Quezon Avenue, everyone was beaming with pride and accomplishment.

“It is with immense joy and gratitude that I stand before you today to celebrate the milestone that holds a special place in our hearts–the 35th year anniversary of Toyota Quezon Avenue,” the company president, Lincoln Lim said during his opening remarks.

“On behalf of our entire team, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you as we reminisce, celebrate and look forward to the journey ahead,” he added.

Hundreds of guests were in attendance during the event as the night was filled with nostalgia with a trip back to memory lane. It was also an evening of recognition as the company awarded its top performers who have been an integral part of their success story throughout the years.

As one of the highlights, there was video prepared wherein Quezon City May Joy Belmonte was there to deliver a special message.

“Toyota Quezon Avenue’s enduring commitment to excellence and unwavering support have played a vital role in shaping Quezon City’s business landscape. The trust you’ve place in our city over the years are truly appreciated,” she said.

“As we celebrate this achievement, may we be reminded of the importance of collaboration between the private sector and the local government. I believe businesses like yours are the backbone of our city’s growth and development. It is in the best interest of Quezon City to be the preferred destination for enterprises and we remain committed to finding ways to enhance our business-friendly environment.”

She further added: “Toyota Quezon Avenue not only contributes to the prosperity of the city’s economic landscape but also plays a crucial role in generating employment and livelihood opportunities for our over 3 million citizens. Together, let’s work towards a future where Quezon City remains a thriving hub for enterprises, creating an inclusive and sustainable community for all.”

Meanwhile, for his part, TQA executive vice president and general manager, Franklin Lim, said in his celebratory toast, “This milestone is a testament to the unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and relentless pursuit of excellence by each and every member of our team.”

“To our service awardees and top performers, your commitment to delivering exceptional service and driving success has been truly remarkable. Your hard work and passion have been the cornerstone of our achievements. Thank you for all your invaluable contributions. Together, we will continue to innovate, collaborate, and push boundaries, to ensure that Toyota Quezon Avenue remains a beacon of excellence in the automotive industry,” he added.

After the company’s 35th year celebration, TQA is yet again moving forward, striving ahead toward the future.

“We see a bright future for electric cars and other energy vehicles,” shared Lincoln during our recent interview.

“We’re looking forward to selling them.”

“But you know what, before, back in the 70s, we didn’t have any idea how to sell cars,” he, all of a sudden, divulged.

He then segued, “Yet, now, look at us, we’re the first dealership under TMP to ever reach the 100,000 units sales milestone.”

He greatly credits his parents, Lim Ti Ping and Pacita Lim’s dedication, resilience, unwavering support and genuine care for the all employees for everything they have accomplished.

“As we celebrate 35 years of excellence let us reaffirm our commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction and community engagement to uphold the legacy of Toyota Quezon Avenue,” Lincoln continued.

With this, perhaps even after most have come and gone, the headship of the company even eyes its vision to remain true and boundless; and their mission of taking action transcending generations.

“And maybe after another 35 years, I would still be here to witness this company still booming,” the 55-year-old head honcho, the eldest in their family–meanwhile–enthusiastically quipped.

“Also, let us not forget, the number one and most important of all, all of these were given by the Grace from up above.”
