MMDA suspends number coding on Labor Day

The expanded number coding scheme on Wednesday, May 1, has been suspended in celebration of Labor day, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

May 1 was declared as a regular holiday in the country.

“The implementation of the expanded number coding scheme is suspended on Wednesday, May 1, Labor Day,” the advisory read.

“Wherever the destination may be, always remember: plan your journey, obey traffic laws, and drive safely,” it added
