EVO City, Ayala Land’s newest 200-hectare progressive estate in Kawit, Cavite was the venue for the inaugural Front Act Run, a musical running event that celebrates health, music and community.
Over 1,500 new and seasoned runners gathered to conquer three distances–half marathon, 10-km and 5-km categories.
Each participant received an event shirt and medal according to the distances they finished, as well as various freebies from sponsors and partners.
DJ Marc Marasigab headlined the event with his electronic beats and Nikko Huelgas led the pack of runners at the starting line.
The EVO City Front Act Run served as a prelude to the ASIC’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Manila, which transpired just over the weekend (November 23-24) and generated over 9,000 participants at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. These events were able to bring the community together as it allowed more people, including beginners, families, and casual runners, to participate without the pressure of running a marathon.
“The passion and dedication of the community has inspired us to open a new run that will showcase what running, music, and community is all about – which is the three pillars of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series,” said Princess Galura, general manager of The IRONMAN Group Philippines.
“We wanted to make the musical fun run class more accessible, especially for new runners who want to take up the hobby, as well as families who want to introduce an active lifestyle to their kids.”
EVO City is a progressive estate by Ayala Land that is set to offer a balanced mix of residential, business, commercial and green spaces that foster a dynamic environment in the South.
