And so it begins.
Starting from December 12, 2024, AC Mobility, Ayala Group’s mobility solutions arm, will be implementing fees for its charging stations nationwide. Respectively, these charging stations will charge a nominal fee of P28.50 per kWh for AC charging and P35 per kWh for DC charging.
This initiative, approved by the Department of Energy (DOE), aspires to create a more sustainable and dependable charging network that electric vehicle owners can rely on. Moreover, these fees will aim to likewise support infrastructure improvements and high-quality charges as demand for EV charging continues to increase.
“Introducing charging fees enables ACMobility to reinvest in our network, allowing us to maintain and expand our infrastructure while delivering a consistently high-quality service,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, chief executive officer of ACMobility.
“True to our commitment of providing the best value to our customers, we aim to make every charging experience as accessible, reliable, and convenient–enabling worry-free journeys across NCR and beyond,” he added.
The company is committed to putting up more than 250 charging points across 100 locations nationwide by the end of the year.
