2023 MIAS further electrifies mobility

16 car brands are all geared up to step up to the plate. They bring forth awe and wonder to the Filipino gearhead in the next few days.

Every year, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) never fails to bring to the table an exciting spectacle for every local motoring enthusiast. Now on its 18th year, it is no different. Event organizers—like always—are pulling all the stops, to make it as thrilling as ever with a packed lineup of activities from car launches, previews, test drives, and a stunt show. Not to mention booths for car parts, gadgets and accessories, just to name a few.

Since time immemorial, it has always been a mecca of all things on four wheels. It has drawn countless of spectators to the usual halls of the World Trade Center in Pasay City, captivating them with thousands of electrifying displays exhibitors have to offer.

This year, with the theme: “Shaping Mobility,” MIAS further ups the ante as it adapts to the ever-changing automotive landscape. With the influx of hybrid and full electric vehicles (EVs) early this year, in sync with the ever-evolving transportation sector, expect the four-day affair to likewise adhere to and highlight the same standard and technologies that go along with the vehicle electrification movement happening not just locally but in the global market.

This time, with the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act in full swing and more local carmakers offering these innovations, showrunners are likewise heading toward this direction. MIAS 2023 is out there to showcase exhibits that further electrified mobility.
