Nissan just unveiled its latest breakthrough in automotive technology, the NissanConnect Services, the car manufacturer’s cutting-edge integration of smart features that makes driving Nissan vehicles more convenient and much safer.
Available in both Google Play and the App Store, NissanConnect has a host of features that gives drivers and passengers more control of their vehicle, including zone alert notification, speed alert and curfew notification.
To showcase the capabilities of the NissanConnect, members of the motoring media were given the opportunity to experience it firsthand during a recent test drive from Okada Manila to La Union, using the new Nissan Almera as their vehicle of choice. This allowed them to witness the seamless integration of the app with the car’s systems and experience the benefits it brings to the driving experience.
One of the standout features of NissanConnect is its ability to remotely start the engine before occupants even step inside the vehicle. This feature enables users to activate the air conditioning system in advance, ensuring a comfortable interior temperature even before entering the car. This functionality can prove to be useful, particularly in situations where the vehicle has been parked under the scorching sun for an extended period.
Among the many smart features that users can enjoy with the NissanConnect include the ability to remotely start or stop the engine, as well as lock or unlock the door. The NissanConnect also include Automatic Collision Notification, SOS emergency call button, My Car Finder, and Theft Alert, among others.
As long as the vehicle and the NissanConnect user has access to reliable internet connection, he or she would be able to control various vehicle functions remotely.

The VE CVT variant comes in Cayenne Red, Brilliant Silver, Pearl White, Gun Metallic, and Galaxy Black. The VE M/T variant is offered in Brilliant Silver, Pearl White, Gun Metallic, and Galaxy Black.
Pricing for the new Nissan Almera with NissanConnect starts at P839,000 for the 1.0L EL MT variant, and P1,059,000 for the 1.0L VE CVT. The 1.0L VL CVT with NissanConnect, on the other hand, is priced at P1,149,000.
